To maintain image quality the stills were exported in 4K dimensions, but the video output in 1080p. The time-lapses shown here were imported into Final Cut Pro where the music and Ken Burns (zoom effect were added). To add music and more advanced editing effects you’ll need to use video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or iMovie. If you don’t have grads you could underexpose shots by one or two stops and recover the foreground in post, but filters will always be the better option because they will allow you to maintain optimum image quality. If you have filters such as a polariser and ND grads make sure you use them to control exposure and to shoot the best images possible. With these lenses, you will, of course, have to focus manually, but the fact that the aperture is set manually and is separate from the camera means that it’s fixed in one position and won’t cause flicker. This may be an old lens made by the manufacturer of your camera or a modern third-party option from the likes of Samyang or Tokina. The most effective way to combat the problem is to shoot with a manual lens. This may be an old lens made by the manufacturer of your camera or a modern third-party option from the likes of Samyang or Tokina But when shooting a sequence of images for time-lapse, that difference becomes noticeable as flicker because of the ever so slight variation in exposure. The problem here is that each time the aperture stops down to take a shot, the exact amount it closes down to is imperceptibly different each time, which makes no difference when shooting generally. We’ve already discussed flicker, and one of the other causes of flicker is autofocus lenses. And if your camera has a built-in intervalometer you won’t even need a shutter remote with one built in. The great thing about time-lapse photography is that it can be as simple or complicated as you like, so at the basic end there’s very little you actually need beyond a camera, kit lens and tripod. More advanced software can remove this, but there’s also another way of reducing this problem and it all comes down to the lens you use. ![]() One of the problems with aperture priority is that if there are flashing lights or quick changes in brightness between one shot to the next, the camera will be fooled into under and overexposure which will ultimately result in flicker.įlicker is when the brightness of frames is slightly different so that when the time-lapse is played back as a video you see a flicker. When shooting in this mode you’ll need to set the necessary amount of exposure compensation if required. This is the mode where you set ISO and aperture, and the camera sets the appropriate shutter speed for a correct exposure. The second, and easier, option is to shoot in aperture priority mode. An advanced version of this is where you shoot a day to night scene and make minor adjustments to shutter speed and ISO as the scene gradually darkens. The first is to put the camera into manual mode so that exposure is fixed and any brightening or darkening of the scene will be picked up. There are two main options for shooting mode when shooting a time-lapse. ![]() – Simple and welcoming for new players – with enough depth and challenge to captivate the most devoted – Get nostalgic with vibrant pixel art and crisp chiptune audio – A fantastic blend of platforming and RPG action – Precisely ported to modern consoles, with extended features like filter, shader, rewind option and art gallery! – Features Wonder Boy, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder in Monster World and Monster World IV ![]() – Four classic games from SEGA’s influential platforming series So whether you’re looking to try this iconic gaming series for the first time, revisit a youth spent playing Wonder Boy, or add a refreshingly distinct platformer to your collection, Wonder Boy Collection is the perfect package for you! Apple's iOS 14 update expanded on that so that you don't have to worry about multiples of the same app icon, making it the best option to date. When iOS 12 came around, Shortcuts made it possible to change app icons without any funky third-party tools involved, but it wasn't a perfect way to do it since you'd have two icons for the same app on your home screen, one neatly tucked away out of sight. To modify your iPhone's appearance, you could use a third-party app with built-in app icon options, bookmarks via Apple Configurator, bookmarks via a web tool, or a jailbreak tweak. ![]() In iOS 11 and under, there were multiple ways to get around Apple's home screen limitations to redesign app icons, and some of those methods are still possible. So, I guess the sneaky people can put malware on your computer via YouTube videos. I think that might have saved me worse trouble. The video bogged down while I was watching it, so I quit that, quit Chrome, and unplugged the router then ran Onyx and restarted. I think it was put on my computer while I was watching a YouTube video, even though I have a good ad blocker and never clicked on anything but the videos I wanted to watch. I don't see either ZipCloud or JustCloud running in Activity Monitor nor can I find any files associated with either. It appears to have gotten rid of it finally. That was harder to get rid of, moving it to the trash and emptying the trash left the icon still sitting there in the folder. ZipCloud is gone, but then I found JustCloud, which is ZipCloud's alias, sitting in my Applications folder. I dragged it to the trash, and emptied the trash, and it's still there in my Applications folder! This is nasty! I want that crap gone! They have made it so I can't get rid of it and I'm pretty angry! I found JustCloud, which ZipCloud is also sometimes named, and I cannot delete it. How did they get this crap onto my computer? Could it have been through YouTube? That's when my Mac started bogging down, while I was watching a tornado video there.Ĭan malware be put onto your computer from just watching videos on YouTube? ZipCloud was indeed in my Applications folder, though I'd never heard of it before and certainly didn't install it. I went to some Mac support forums about it, and they gave instructions that just do not work on my Mac at all, though they did say to drag ZipCloud to the trash from Applications, which I did. I'd never heard of that before, and had no idea how that had gotten onto my machine! I got rid of the pop-up, and immediately googled how to get rid of it as it looked like I'd gotten malware by some sneaky means without knowing it.
